Buy Digg Votes -- Should You Do It?

While it's a fairly new practice of advertising and traffic generation, the argument is still on whether or not the practice of being able to buy digg votes is ethical. In this article I'm going to give you my thoughts and whether or not you should be doing it.

The reason so many people are against this type of thing is that sites like uSocial.net who sell the votes are undermining social communities who use sites like Digg. On the other hand, they are providing an awesome service to small-business owners who may not have been able to advertise otherwise.

The major benefit is simply the cost when compared to the results it gives. While pay-per-click traffic averages $50,000+ USD per 100,000 visitors (no, you didn't read that wrong), if you buy Diggs you can achieve the same result for around $300.

For small business this means that they can now compete in the world of marketing where some were simply not able to afford the extremely exorbitant costs that were being asked by Google or other PPC providers in certain niches.

So, is it wrong to invest in social bookmarking votes? I'll leave that up to you, just consider these points and make up your own mind.
