Atomic Blogging by Alvin Phang contains some really good information for the blogging Newbies. The first part of his e-book covers the basics such as domain name registration, intstalling and configuring a blog, optimizing it, etc., etc.

After the first half of the book, Alvin walks the reader through some basics on Search Engine Optimization, tips on blogging, writing content, getting traffic to your blog, and monetizing your blog. While much of the information is valuable, there are many "holes" in the book, leaving the majority of the sections entirely too incomplete to be of serious value for the reader.

For example, in the short discussion on search engine optimization, Alvin focuses exclusively on a small number of on-page SEO practices only, and completely ignores many of the most effective SEO techniques that even newcomers should know.

The "bonus" chapters are just like the last half of the book. He provided some useful information, but they too were incomplete.

Many of the bonuses included in the package add little value, as well. For example, to access the decidedly average Barking Video series bonus, you must first sign up for another internet marketers mailing list, a practice with which I don't agree.

One big problem that many readers will most likely notice is that English is Alvins second language. While that in itself is quite remarkable " since he is making money online selling a system written in English, the biggest problem is trying to understand what he is actually trying to say " which for me can be both confusing and outright frustrating.

Atomic Blogging has been devalued somewhat recently, as the author has begun including it as a free bonus to other products. While it's his product, and he can do what he pleases with it, it does devalue the purchases made by his past customers, which is probably not the best long-term approach.

Although the content of the book lacks the value that is described on the sales page, Alvin is a nice, helpful guy.

Atomic Blogging Contains: the core 130-page Atomic Blogging e-book, AdSense Revenue Exposed e-book, Yaro Starak MP3 audio interview, Barking Video series, Blogger's Guide to Profits e-book, eWriter Pro, Atomic Blogging theme, Alvin Phang's keyword research tool, E-mail support

Sales Promises Met? -- No: This is a useful system for people who are just starting out to blog, but there are far too many topics that were not covered completely enough to meet the Sales Promises it wrote on its sales page.

Ease of Use: -- Good: The book includes many clear, step-by-step instructions in creating a blog, unfortunately due to not having a good command of English, it was difficult to understand what he was trying to communicate.

Customer Support: -- Very Good: Quick and timely response, he gives very good support to any questions you have.

Value for Money: -- $47: Fair --The bonuses add little value to the book, making its current price slightly higher than one would expect for the value received.

Overall Rating: -- Fair/Average: Atomic Blogging contains enough information to get the complete beginner started with a new blog, but there are many holes in knowledge that will need filled or supplemented through other sources.
