Blogging for Riches has undergone many changes since its introduction in 2007 by Greg Meares and Jerry Franklin its authors. In its current form, the primary offering consists of a video series that focuses on niche blogging.

This aspect is important to understand as the programs reviewed on our site can be broken down into two general categories: long-term blogging methods (methods for building flagship blogs) and niche blogging methods. Blogging for Riches falls into the latter category.

We think the best part of this program is the finding and targeting a niche videos. The videos starts with researching and identifying niche blogs, followed by steps you need to take in order to implement them successfully.

There are 70+ videos to watch that will teach you the basics, such as installing a blog, configuring a blog, etc. Then it moves on to creating content, either by doing it yourself, which is free, or paying for it such as outsourcing or Private Label Rights. The information here is not any different compared to the other blogging packages I have reviewed.

One aspect of this section that is suspect is the recommendation of an "online mailbox" to collect content. Essentially, a blogger signs up for as many e-mail subscriptions as possible and then publishes all e-mails received on the target blog.

Sure, this method is a way to generate content for your blog, and it is free, but the content is filled with someone elses links and recommendations. This method will, I believe, get you into trouble.

The following videos covers the usual topics of how to get traffic to your blog, using Web 2.0, and how to make money with your blog by using networking and Web 2.0.

The Package Contains: the core 70+ short videos (no e-book), Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Traffic Themes, Extreme Plugin Success, The Social Bookmarking Quick Start Guide, and the Traffic Generation Guide.

Meets Stated Objectives? -- Yes: Like most make money online programs, the hype is hard to live up to, but Blogging for Riches is a very good learning product.

Ease of Use: -- Good: Like many of the blogging books reviewed, there will still be technical hurdles to overcome to implement the methods covered in this course, but you do get to see everything done.

Customer Support: -- Excellent: Customers report receiving very responsive support from the program creators.

Value for Money: -- $97: Poor -- There is not enough new information here to charge for such a high price.

Overall Rating: -- Fair/Average: Blogging for Riches is designed to help you research, select, launch, and market a niche blog that you can monetize with affiliate programs. This video-based program is good, but very pricey for the information you receive.
